Blood test result- Failed...

I went to the blood bank to check my blood hemoglobin level. It registered 12.3 rather than 12.5 which is the acceptable level.

A little disappointed but here are the reasons.

1. I have only taken Chlorella and Spirulina for only a week so it does not really have a great effect. i guess i need to take it for a longer period of time. However, i can't really wait. The information i got is you got to take Spirulina for a month or two for the good effects to come. Maybe i have experiencing some minor good effects like feeling of having more energy, pass out smelly urine and less sluggish.

2. The recommended dosage for malnutrition is 4g as it is said in the label of the bottle. i only took 2g per day. I should have increase the dosage. The nutritional table that comes along with the bottle of Spirulina state that 10 g of Spirulina will give me 15 mg of Iron. If i take 4g, it will gives me 6g of iron per day. Other Spirulina tablets come with higher dosage that is 450mg per capsule or tablet while mine is only 200mg. I guess i got to take more than 20. Maybe 25 (5g of Spirulina)

I can solved my problem by taking the iron pills that they had wanted to give me but i rejected. Reason is, i do not like to take such pills and i wanted to test the workings of Chlorella and Spirulina.

There isn't any nutritional table that comes with my bottle of Chlorella. According to various website that i googled, it's emphasis is on its detox, digestion and healing properties, i will research more on these and post it for you guys, remember?

By the way, i am not exactly malnourished. It is just that my iron level is not high enough for blood donation in order to consider safe by them. Moreover, i am a vegetarian and somewhat picky for food. So with Chlorella and Spirulina comes to my life, i thought i can continue to be picky for food. I guess a week isn't enough for me to see the effect.

This is the letter from the blood bank that is passed to me after i was rejected from donating:

<< Dear Donor,

... You will temporarily deferred as a blood donar because of low hemoglobin level. However, it does not mean you are anemic or cannot donate in future. In fact, in most cases, a simple chagne in diet is all is needed to increase your hemoglobin level. ( talk about picky for food and a vegetarian, hehe)

Average adult males requires 10mg of iron daily while average adult female requires 18mg a day, due to her monthly loss of hemoglobin........ Eating food rich in vitamin C along with iron rich food can inrease the amount iron is absorbed inthe body. Tea and coffee can prevent decrease iron absorption especially taken after meal. >>

I use the test at the blood center to guage my iron level only, not my health level. As the nurse over there has told me to come back 2 weeks later and i came back only a week later.. Stubbornly. hehe. The nurse also told me that i am healthy and no problem at all, just that for my age, my iron is consider low. So they just use the age factor with iron level and nothing else. hmmm.. i wonder..

I guess i am too excitied that these superfood comes to my life and maybe i view them as Magical. They are not magic i guess even though thier nutritional content is consider champion compare to other food. My health is still ok, better.

For these 2 weeks, i will take more dosage of Chlorella and Spirulina. Other than that will be as per normal. That will give me a clearer indication of the effectiveness of Chlorella and Spirulina.

This is what i get from a friend. I guess i need to stay longer in the "Algae food effectiveness" program. A week doesn't make any difference. Hey ladies, if you want to slim down, why not try this method. 4g of Spirulina after each meal and dun eat too much. If you take 3 meals, that would be 12g per day. Of course that for malnourish individuals. why not try 2g each meal.

Donating blood Part 1

Upcoming test for Chlorella and Spirulina, Part 1.

Last Saturday, i was rejected from donating blood as they found out i have low haemoglobin level in my blood due to lack of iron. The minimum level for haemoglobin level is 12.5 and i got 12.4 last saturday. I will make a trip to the blood bank tomorrow again.

Haemoglobin is the red pigment or colour in our red blood cells that is responsible for carrying oxygen to all parts of our body. If a person has a low level of haemoblogin in his blood cells, he will be anemic ( in serious case) or the affected althetic will not perform well, the body cells dun get enough oxygen fast enough. This is usually due to poor diet planning.

The blood bank staff gave me iron pills but i rejected it. I hate taking supplements. I have a concept that anything that is not natural will not be good to my body.

Instead, i get myself to pop Chlorella and Spirulina tablets. 2g each per day. The expert claimed that Chlorella and Spirulina contain more iron than beef and spinach, 58% more. Ok. so let's see what will i get tomorrow.

Chlorella-Spirulina Fart Out Potato Chips

Detoxified by Chlorella and Spirulina

There is one health properties of Chlorella and Spirulina, that is, Detoxification.

I usually took my superhealth tablets in the afternoon. Today, i feel a craving for potato chips so i went down to the nearest supermarket to get myself a bottle of Pringles potato chips, favourite brand, hehe. I was mauching my chips in the evening while doing my work in front of pc and without knowingly, i finished the whole bottle of it.

About 2 to 3 hours later, i catch my favourite show " The Amazing race" which lasted for an hour. And you know what? Ii was farting away while watching that whole show for an hour and continue till i went to bed. ( while sleeping, i dunno if my butt is still working)

I never fart that much and become curious why it happens. I was farting like 2 to 3 times a minute while watching the show. i have to cover my nose, yes, i dun really like the smell of my own fart. I guess the Chlorella and Spirulina that i have taken earlier was removing those unhealthy substances that my body does not want by asking my body to fart it out. Commercial chips are sure not considered by experts to be in the healthy list.

Granted, i only took these superfood for only 5 days and it is working on my body. I do not mean that it will work on you too as everyone's body is different..... but it is actually happening to me.

I have no examination proof that is caused by the good works of the superfood that i have taken. It is a good or i can say confident, logical assumption that i can hold on to as i do not fart that much before. And i didn't took anything in between as i took my chips for dinner. So it is most likely to be it.

I would like to add one more detoxification experience that i had. After i took my very first dose of Chlorella and Spirulina 5 days ago, i pass out a strong smell of urine the next morning after i woke up from my sleep. It is not that horrible like my fart but it has the strong smell that i do not have it before. Passing out strong smelling urine indicate more waste and unwanted material is being removed from your body. It does not happen yesterday but only after i have taken Chlorella and Spirulina, the very first time.

I will be compelling a list of health benefits of Chlorella and Spirulina, as fully as i can get, and posted it in a few days time, depending how fast i can get it done. I promise i will do it as fast as i can. So stay tune.... :-)

What is Chlorella and Spirulina? Super Food !!!!

Both Chlorella and Spirulina are micro-algae. Microscopic plants that grow in fresh water. Yes, you heard it correctly, it is micro-small. About 2 to 8 microns, size of your blood cells. They are grow in ponds naturally, however, for commercial demand, they are grow in water farm where there are lots of sunlight. (Maybe in Singapore, summer 365 days a year. I never see snow before. When I travel back home by bicycle, I need to cycle up a long steep slope. That is tiring and hard for me even though I am a runner. Chlorella and Spirulina - The Start

Chlorella and Spirulina Super Food!!!!

On 22nd october, i found out that i have low haemoglobin level in my blood according to the blood bank that i visited every 3 months. Yes, i am a blood donor. How is it possible? I have done it 17 times without any problems.

I admit that i was a little bit unwell as i was too tired due to eating some unclean food accidentally. But anyway, i was not really that happy as i was rejected from blood donating for the very first time. I am a vegetarian ( 4 years) and i am proud to be one. Is it because of my greenie diet, if that is so why now?

I brought up my queries to a buddhist forum under vegetarian section and ask what is wrong and one of the forumer suggest i try a Super Food call Chlorella. I do not know what is that and why it is call super food.

I search around the net and wow!!!!! it certainly blow me away. It is one of the best natural food , power-packed with minerals and vitamins that makes any health supplements look stupid. Best of all it is natural. So it is call natural food too.

When we talk about Chlorella, we also talk about its tag team mate, Spirulina. These 2 are brothers . What are they ? In short, they are the micro algae full of whole natural vitamins and minerals that all your body could have and in much higher content that those off the shelves supplements.

I am also a health concious indivdiual or you can say fanantic. No, just someone who is very interested in health. I never come across of this food in my 31 years of my life till now. Call me a lousy researcher even though i am a health fanatic.
